Our hourly rates offer homes and businesses amazing value for money, with Removals starting at just £50 per hour for one man and a van, to £90 per hour for 2 men and a large luton van. Pricing flexibility

For single item collections we only ask a minimum of 1 hour. For room/studio/flat/house moves a 2 hour minimum charge, or 4 hour charge where 3 men are used.

Payment is accepted by debit/credit card, bank transfer or cash, immediately after job is completed.

Terms & Conditions.

Deposits.

A deposit of 1 hour is required to reserve a moving date/time. Once the deposit is paid, we do not offer that date/time to another customer. If that booking is then cancelled at any time thereafter, then we reserve the right to keep the deposit, as we may well have lost work as a result. We understand this is often not the fault of the customer, so we try our best to be understanding, and we will return the deposit if we manage to fill the cancelled date/time slot. In all cases a cancellation charge of £25 is payable, if the job is not rebooked (i.e. we cannot fulfill a date change).

Breakages

Any breakages must be reported to us within 48 hours of your move, we will only be responsible for any damage caused by ourselves, so if for instance you contact us to report a breakage and we have no knowledge of it, then we will not be held responsible, as we handle everything with extreme care, and in the rare occurrence that we do cause damage we will be aware of this ourselves, and we will have brought this to your attention.

Any items packed by yourselves must be done to a satisfactory standard, i.e. crockery and glassware must be individually wrapped in paper or bubble wrap, we will not held responsible for damage caused when moving boxes full of unwrapped fragile items, so please take your time and pack carefully. We will of course be held fully responsible in the unlikely event of any damage caused to items packed by ourselves.

We hold both public liability and goods in transit insurance (£10,000 per van load), our insurance only covers us moving our customers items. In the event where a customer wants to help us move their items, our insurance will not cover damage to any items which may have been caused by them, and if there is uncertainty about whether it was a customer or a staff member who may have caused damage to an item then we will not be held responsible. Customers may however help with the move with this understanding.

Time of arrival

For all moves starting in the morning we guarantee we will start on time, for afternoon moves we usually stipulate a start time of between 12-2pm to be confirmed on the day, this is the case in 95% of our afternoon jobs, although sometimes due to key waits or traffic, we may arrive outside of this time slot.
