If you’re arranging collection or delivery of a large piece of furniture, we can assist you by taking it apart and reassembling it again at your destination.
When our 3.5T van arrives, it will be equipped with protective quilted covers and straps so that your items are kept free from damage. We can also provide bubble wrap and export strength brown paper for fragile items such as mirrors and glass cabinets. With over 8 years of experience behind us, our team will not let you down. Our Man with a Van service proves to be great value for money – Unlike many of our competitors, we only require a 2 hour minimum hire period with all fees being carefully outlined before we begin. Our full list of prices can be seen here.

No deposit is required for our services and payment can be made via cash or card following completion of the job.
Whilst in transit, all items are insured by Basil Fry, the UKs leading removals insurance broker. We have a ‘risk all’ insurance policy, meaning we do not need an inventory list or any type of signed documentation prior to your move. All situations are accounted for, allowing you to have total peace of mind.

Smooth, efficient and professional - and competitive on price too!The last time I've moved I was moving from a different country with a backpack on my back over ten years ago, so I had no idea what to expect when booked my moving date and time with Mike at Hero Removals. All I knew - as everyone around me was eager to tell - that moving is one of the most stressful things in life. So after having zero experience in moving AND being told to prepare for blood, sweat and tears by multiple acquaintances , I had painted a vivid picture in my head of the messy aftermath, a terrifying and sad scene of broken furniture, squashed boxes and two very angry, very sad and very stressed women in the middle of it all.Now imagine my surprise when Mike and Con turned up promptly at 12 as agreed, and without hassle, questions or much instruction, they... just... they just got on with it so quickly, so efficiently, so effortlessly...Everything was carried, packed, placed and transported safely and carefully, no boxes, furniture or items got damaged or left behind. More fragile items like a desktop PC or our cherished houseplants were also all safely transported.The fact that we couldn't secure parking was not an issue, and considering that we've moved from a lower ground floor studio flat (which meant extra lifting), the guys were done packing up in an about an hour and a half and were done packing out at the new place in about one hour.Both Mike and Con were professional, friendly, careful and lovely to chat with once the work was done - they didn't stop for a chat while there was anything to move in our old place!I would definitely recommend Hero Removals, they made moving smooth, easy and stress-free. Based on everyone else's horror stories, they all really should have gone with Mike and his company.

Hero’s was recommended to me by a friend and I wasn’t disappointed. I have used Hero Removals twice now and I cannot fault them. I had a two man crew with a Luton small lorry (with the platform lift) equipped with all the specific kit for removals, and the service was very good. On time, quick and careful. Once you have used a professional company once... it is difficult to go back to doing it yourself.Recommended.

Had to move as a result of the landlord wanting to sell (Section 21) and so made the decision to move ASAP (also because the ceiling was coming down, due to a water leak).Hero removals saved the day - oh yes, I went there 😉 - and helped us to move to our new place. I can't praise these guys highly enough, they're very diligent and hard working. They dismantled and reassembled our furniture with care and attention. In fact, they treated all of our possessions with the same consideration that they'd treat their own. Hero Removals were a fantastic help with our move. They arrived promptly and nothing was too much for them. They helped take down and rebuild furniture and didn’t complain at the amount of stairs of the flat we were moving from (top floor, no lift!). Hero Removals truly live up to their name. They tick all of the superhero traits you could want in a removals team. - They're kind and conscientious people who take the utmost care with all of your stuff. - They perform incredible feats of strength and endurance with furniture and white goods (I lived at the top of a building with about 85 stairs...).- They're astute problem solvers when it comes to finding ways to get awkward-shaped furniture into awkward-sized nooks and crannies.- They've got an in-depth knowledge of taking apart and putting together furniture with ease. - They arrived right when they said they would, and were booked at relatively short notice. - And all of this at a price point that made it great value.Nothing was too much trouble, but beyond that they were smiling and cheerful to the very end of a 6 hour day of moving mountains of stuff across town. I couldn't recommend these guys enough (in fact, I've recommended them to my family already). Fantastic – heroes indeed.

The service provided was a fantastic experience from start to finish.It was very clear from the beginning we were in safe hands that we could trust. Moving into a new home can be incredibly daunting and oftentimes stressfull. My wife and I would know as we have moved so many times!We can honestly say without a doubt that Michael and his team were the best we have had the pleasure to move with.Right from the start Michael had an incredibly calming aura which invited joy into the whole operation - strengthening my wifes and my own resolve.After calling Michael and giving him our details we opted for some help packing as well as moving. We requested the kitchen and the living room be packed by his team.
